# Moe Chizari: privacy

What this site learns about you, and where it goes. This is the personal page of Mohamed (Moe) Chizari. It has no accounts and no forms, sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Two companies see each visit: Cloudflare, which serves the pages, and Google, which serves the typefaces. The details are below.

## Reading the pages

The pages set no cookies and store nothing in your browser.

There is no form, no sign-up and no account. There is nothing here for you to fill in or send.

The moving figure on the home page is drawn in your browser and sends nothing. The site's own code keeps no record of visits.

## Cloudflare, the host

Cloudflare serves this site. Like any host, it sees the internet address each request comes from, the time and the page asked for, and it counts visits with a small script that it adds to each page. Cloudflare states that this counter uses no cookies or other storage in your browser and does not fingerprint visitors: [Cloudflare Web Analytics](https://www.cloudflare.com/web-analytics/). ## Google, for the typefaces

Every page except the not-found page asks Google Fonts for two typefaces, Playfair Display and Montserrat. Your browser makes that request to Google directly. Google therefore sees your internet address, the name of your browser, and that the request came from this site.

If the request is blocked, the pages still work. They are shown in a typeface already on your device.

## Links to other sites

The pages link to other sites, among them LinkedIn, GitHub, YouTube, X, Instagram and Seven Sky Consulting. Nothing is loaded from them while you read here.

When you follow a link, the site you arrive at is told at most the name of this site, not which page you were on. From there on, that site's own privacy rules apply.

## What is done with it

Nothing about visitors is sold, and nothing is shared for advertising.

The site carries no advertising and has no mailing list.
